Imagine if people were as different from each other as dogs are!

Colours would be way more varied than now, and very few of us would be just one colour.
There would be huge variety in the shapes of faces and bodies.
Some people would be three times the height of others, and the range of normal body weights would be off the charts.

Dogs mostly get along with each other!
Why do humans have such a hard time getting along with each other, with the slight variations between us??

I saw a documentary of a Russian study of wolves. Over time, those that became more domesticated also became more diverse in coloring and other characteristics.

I suspect it somewhat mirrors the evolution of civilization with humans.

@DffrntDrmmr I get this. If we look at established Western societies we see considerable diversity and tolerance of it. Whereas life in developing countries looks mostly the same.
