I had a start date from this company and then quit my other one. Then this new one retracted their offer as a final decision because they couldn't work out some wrong info they screwed up :D
And guess who pays the price?
ME!!!
All me
What the heck, man??
I went back to my old company saying I got a change of plans and they laughed 😂 Saying "Listen buddy, you scared us for a moment" pretty much "Tryna get more momey out of us?" lookim ahh 😂 Regardless, I got a meeting this next week to get me some more work but dang yo Something about this feels illegal. I guess you should sign on the dotted line before giving MANLY notice.
@SW-User I did. I literally signed the offer and they rescinded it becuse they had an internal review with poor information
When I saw it and witnessed the misinformation, I demanded they correct it and not go through with the cancellation but they said it's final .-.
So I had a start date and a signed offer for nothing

@Iwantyourhotwife that's really shitty. That's on them for not having completed everything beforehand and checking with you. Sometimes people hire but say, pending blah blah blah outcome, if they're waiting for some check to come back.. Like fingerprints.
