1. Not at all. Some fear mongerers make it out to be as such. Women are subservient to God and God alone in Islam. If you're asking about listening to their guardian man, then maybe I can elaborate on that but it differs to who any human should be subservient to. Subservience is a right of the Creator on the creation in Islam

Also, I appreciate the open questioning because soooooo many people are either so uncomfortable due to hatred, societal pressures, fear, or low knowledge on the subject that they refuse to ask. Asking is beautiful
