Why do immigrants prefer Canada ?

They don't have daily random shootings. And that sometime in the past Canada had politicians who thought healthcare for all is a great idea.

@Crazywaterspring My favorite thing about Chicago was taking my kids to the murders. They loved it. Before 2013, we took them to Detroit, but in 2013, Detroit had a budget crisis and cut their murder budget. We were up there the whole holiday weekend and never saw a single murder, although it was pretty cool when our porter, Jamaal, took a 22 slug in the gut.
