Is cancel culture a violation of freedom of speech?

If someone is “canceled” by a private business or private citizens, that’s just freedom of association.

If I come over to your house and spray paint “Trump sux” on your wall, it’s not a violation of free speech if you ask me to leave and erase what I wrote. Free speech does not entitle you to a venue and does not mean that your freedom to speak is without consequences.
@LeopoldBloom freedom of association? Do you consider a work contract association?
@Babylon Yes. A contract is enforceable in court. However, if one party violates the terms of a contract, the other party is free to ignore their own obligations under that same contract. Specifically, when you sign up for a social media site, you agree to their terms of service. If you violate them, they can "cancel" you. That's not a transgression of your freedom of speech, it's a private business severing a relationship based on rules both parties agreed to.

It's no different from you not paying a contractor who doesn't finish the job you hired him for, or a contractor not finishing a job because you stopped making progress payments.
