Isn't all lynch mob culture?
@SW-User As I once told someone on EP,
“If you ain’t hanging from a tree, set on fire with your junk cut off, you’re not a victim of a lynch mob !” 😳

@bijouxbroussard The Salem witch trials beg to differ. You can consult a dictionary if you disagree.
@SW-User I don’t have to “consult” a thing except recent newspapers where politicians getting pummeled by the media while alive in their comfortable homes complain about being “victims of lynch mob culture” which is hyperbole of the worst kind. And I certainly don’t have to go back as far as the Salem witch trials. Black people (and a few white people who associated with us) were being hanged, burned alive, dismembered and castrated for the amusement of white crowds throughout the American South—as recently as the mid 20th century. Men, women and children. Our government passed “anti-lynching” legislation in 2020, and it was mostly symbolic. Feel free to look that up. 😳

@bijouxbroussard And I don't have to stop using a word based on what you tell me to do. I'm a grown man. Why don't you try acting like a grown woman? If it's in the dictionary, it stays. It is not a word used to disparage an entire race.

It's a word. Get over it.
@SW-User I wasn’t telling you to say or do anything different. I was relating something that I told someone. You objected—I explained the context.

@bijouxbroussard I live in Ireland, not America. Take this to someone else.

Do not patronise me again.
@SW-User No worries. You do you. Bye.

@bijouxbroussard Yep. I have false memories of soldiers everywhere all the time. See ya!
