After some elected Trump, they went to go retire in Mexico. Reports include Americans complaining about their music and trying to gentrify neighborhoods and Mexico isn't having any of it.

Some good and bad points in here.

A huge problem, in America, has always been the concept of "When in Rome, do as the Romans do". Latin "Quando in Roma, fac como Romani".

Sadly, not even St Ambrose, of the 4th century, lived up to his own saying.

Cultural Conflict: St. Ambrose, as a bishop, often found himself in conflict with Roman authorities and customs, particularly regarding pagan practices.

The same attitude persists.

Yeah, I have had to do as the Romans did, often enough. Yet I never took advantage of the saying, the same way that both St Ambrose or most currently Americans do today.

Pushing your own values, unwanted, is morally wrong! It doesn't matter who is doing it either.
