Do people ever tell you you don't look like the ethnicity you are?

I'm Hispanic/Latino (Mexican and Argentinian descent, mostly), I have a Spanish surname, yet people tell me all the time I don't look it 😅 They've never been to Latin America, I guess. A lot of people of European descent there, and various eye, hair, and skin colors. "Hispanic" covers a wide range.

Well, famously, there's a large Welsh community in Argentina, hence the surnames like Griffiths, Brown and Thomas. I bet they don't look that Hispanic :P
