Do people ever tell you you don't look like the ethnicity you are?

I'm Hispanic/Latino (Mexican and Argentinian descent, mostly), I have a Spanish surname, yet people tell me all the time I don't look it 😅 They've never been to Latin America, I guess. A lot of people of European descent there, and various eye, hair, and skin colors. "Hispanic" covers a wide range.

My mother is part Scottish and Irish and my father is German. I have my mother's side of the family with fair skin. My brothers were more on my father's side with dark features and can tan in the sun when I can't. It is definitely an interesting dynamic
