Do people ever tell you you don't look like the ethnicity you are?

I'm Hispanic/Latino (Mexican and Argentinian descent, mostly), I have a Spanish surname, yet people tell me all the time I don't look it 😅 They've never been to Latin America, I guess. A lot of people of European descent there, and various eye, hair, and skin colors. "Hispanic" covers a wide range.

When I was younger people would often speak Spanish to me. That happens to a lot of people in my family. I know that there are black people who are also Latino (my late husband was Afro-Cuban) but we are not.
