How do i prove my Native American heritage?

My father is still alive but refuses to help me. If i had some of his dna it would probably help ke and i doubt just using my own blood would work.

You have to go to the bureau of Indian affairs and contact them to do and request a DNA test and also they will be able to look up your tribal ancestry if you know which nation you are from. And to also qualify for registration on tribal roles you must meet the minimum blood quantum level

@Fungirlmmm as a proud member of the Cree Nation I know exactly how this has to be conducted. Luckily for me whenever I decide to register my great-grandmother on my grandfather's side is already documented as full blooded Cree native
