How do i prove my Native American heritage?
My father is still alive but refuses to help me. If i had some of his dna it would probably help ke and i doubt just using my own blood would work.

@froggtongue since im Native American. I shouldbe been able to get free schooling. I should be paid by the state because of my heritage. My father claims he is full blooded my whole life. And its within my rights that would be owed to me. He told me they would take one look at me and deny me because of how pale i am. I told him that doesnt erase my heritage if im half the culture he claims i am. He said he lost all paperwork. And cant help me out. We dont have a relationship.

@ScarletWitch Ah. Well, maybe start with the school you wish to attend, ask around their offices and specifically what they would require to confirm your NA heritage. Don't know if that helps you, but I hope so.

@ScarletWitch free schooling is a myth. Tribes only give scholarships. Hardly enough to pay for all schooling. But there are many other resources that will help you pay for school.
