Is it just my kid or is this the new culture now?

I feel older son is very confused, or he is just going with the norm. All of a sudden seems half of his Sophmore classmates are non binary and they are so sensitive I can’t say one thing without being called a homophobic or a racist.

It's basically a cultural war and it shouldn't be played out like that in schools. When nonbinary is the preferred term to describe a fellow human being, well, it really stinks of Brave New World already. They need to see where they're heading with that first. No more individual rights is the beginning of the end for a society. As for your son, well, things will settle down eventually again and he shouldn't be feeling bad about been called names that don't stick

There's a more fundemental right of expression and liberty to have opinions about what goes or doesnt that aren't yours

@val70 It’s part of an agenda to further fragment society and weaken it. It’s easier to take over an entire nation when society has been fragmented pitting people against one another. People need to wake up and realize that they have been manipulated.

@cherokeepatti Sure is :-) I'm doing everything to awaken them to rational thinking and realistic prospects that are much more important to the larger society like poverty for example
