American Visions Vol. 2 - The Promised Land

What started American art and culture up? Because of what God gave me for a brain, I quite often get into some trouble. I used once Progressive Conservative on Twitter (when I was still on there and was describing myself in my profile) and got almost immediately verbally assaulted. How can one be both progressive and conservative? Well, learn a bit of American history and culture, and you'll discover a whole new world out there. Robert Hughes tried to introduce us in the second episode of his series on American art to little known concepts like "newest" which dominated much of the early culture in the newly formed country. The Puritans were indeed never conservative. One might here see even the origin for Jefferson's own duality, or how it could have been possible to be both a slave owner and a proponent of all men to be regarded created equal. That last statement according to the Puritains just couldn't have extended to absolutely anyone. Not to the native people for one [media=https://youtu.be/eZlu_d6GTmE]

The terms related to the conservative narrative are varied. I am anxious to conserve the environment, and and am conservative in how i spend my money, but I am not a conservative voter.

@samueltyler2 What? They did when?

@val70 there was a dispute over it, the depiction of him above native American and african,-americans walking under his level kings on his horse.

@samueltyler2 I heard about that, but didn't know that they actually had done it. A shame! I always think of Robin Williams too now
