Well that’s a bit racist but here especially in the first world predominantly white countries there seems to be a stigma against hitting children. It wasn’t like that when I was a child in the 80s and 90s it’s a relatively new thing. It’s also illegal for schools and nurseries to raise a hand to a child, has been since before I was born. I don’t think it’s illegal for parents to though. Over here it’s very much thought that there are other ways of discipling children other than hitting.
