How do you deal with a toxic old man who constantly complains,

is overly critical, racist , disabled and does not contribute anything aside from being a burden ?

I knew someone who said his mother was like that.... what he did was love her anyway. He also showed me she was able to contribute... just not in ways others might have looked for.

@SW-User Maybe his mother was loving when she was younger. It’s nice he understands her. Also irritability is common in the elderly

@Kcmzeph The story is a sad one and no...he didn't paint her as a very loving woman.
Sometimes, we love people just because.... and we all need someone to love us...even if the rest of the world doesn't.
