A long time ago I felt this way too until I got in an abusive relationship
Sometimes when I watch certain movies or observe certain pictures i guess that “trigger” me I start crying uncontrollably
I am usually not so much affected by reading
I use them out of respect for others, because just because we do not react the same way as others does not mean they are capable of the same reactions we are
@Wol62 Warnings that you safely ignore are a pain, but my opinion is to try to tolerate them as opposed to attacking the folks who demand them.
Reminds me of packing peanut butter in my kids lunch. Are they worth the effort? Maybe not for me, but I'll be damned if i want to argue with a parent with a dead kid.
I just think, well am I missing something as people get very upset about them. So if someone came up with a brilliant argument for eradicating them then I'd I'd have to take that on board. So I thought, well isn't that what SW is for? If anyone can destroy trigger warning with their intelligence it's the good people of this site. So, over to them...
