I gotta remember to not refer to Hispanics as “brownies” when I’m not at home 😓
I’m so used to calling my Hispanic wife a brownie as a cute little pet name that I forget other Hispanic people might find it less cute and more pejorative. 😬

Why would you refer to Hispanics as brownies? It's not like you're married to all of them, and they, as an entire racial group, have to put up with your terms of endearment.
