Do you think a civil war is coming in the U.S.A.?

To any honest observer,it's become clear that culture and politics in the United States has become sharply divided into two camps:conservatives and leftists. While moderates no doubt exist,it's clear that they have little,if any, control over the current situation, and I frankly don't see the two sides in power ever coming to a mutual understanding.I won't debate which side is correct;everyone has their opinion on the subject. My point is that the beliefs of each side are so antithetical to the other that bi-partianship is largely extinct, and I don't see it coming back.Is it possible-even likely-that this state of affairs will escalate into a large scale conflict?Could there be a civil war in the U.S.?

It's an actual civil war taking place, this time no one has to die, bc society is maturing.

@checkoutanytime except for random non involved people who will never see it coming.

@Oberon1 So you believe that there should be no opposing viewpoint to your own. A dictatorship. Goodbye democracy and civility.

@JimboSaturn No. We shouldn't be brutally attacked by our own leaders. No more hypocrisy and over-reach. No more treachery and subterfuge. No more demolition of the "American Dream" and no more glorification of ingratitude, hatefulness, and weakness. No more lies and intentional confusion. No more "AFFECTUS SUPER LOGICAM"!
