Do you think a civil war is coming in the U.S.A.?

To any honest observer,it's become clear that culture and politics in the United States has become sharply divided into two camps:conservatives and leftists. While moderates no doubt exist,it's clear that they have little,if any, control over the current situation, and I frankly don't see the two sides in power ever coming to a mutual understanding.I won't debate which side is correct;everyone has their opinion on the subject. My point is that the beliefs of each side are so antithetical to the other that bi-partianship is largely extinct, and I don't see it coming back.Is it possible-even likely-that this state of affairs will escalate into a large scale conflict?Could there be a civil war in the U.S.?

It's a very divided nation. Despite the name " united states of america "
Seems a lot of hostility between certain groups over there. Lot of politically based.
They've had a civil war before so it wouldnt surprise me

@IrishRover1981 Seriously how often have we been united. Most of WWII and a short while after 9/11 is all that comes to mind. The rest of the time has been pretty rancorous.

And what do you expect. Bring in masses from every group from every corner of the world, everyone with competing agendas, and you expect harmony? Unity?

And set the system up so that horrid demagogues can grab unlimited wealth and power by keeping everyone at each's throats.

Every country that has a relatively peaceful population have a manageable, homogenous population. And many of them are idiotically commiting suicide by bringing in masses of savages with no skills and no desire to assimilate
