I Believe In The Rise Of Werewolves

Attention Nonhumans And Humans... Children, children, children. All of this is getting way out of hand. Just so all of you know, in case it wasn't already obvious, my name is Drachona. I won't bother to mention my age as it would be hard for some to believe and it is, for the moment, superfluous. After reading all the comments about "death to the human invaders", I had to step in. I would be lying if I said I have never felt similar to this, but that mood changed once I had my head on straight again. Humanity has done horrible things in the past, to many nonhuman kinds. Altogether, the pain is indescribable and the loss is incomprehensible, but there is one thing you all need to understand: in a fight, the mature person is the one who knows when it's time to move on. I could never forgive people of the past for what they did to my family and friends, but I can still move on. It takes someone of great courage and strength to set past things aside and try to work towards a better future for all beings. Everyone deserves a chance at life, and I have met many humans who are anything but harmful to my kind, any other or even our planet. Many of you think that it would be justified to kill humans, but I guarantee you it is much easier to say than to accomplish.

Even if you all carried out your plan instead of making claims without actually acting, how many do you think would help you? I am speaking primarily to Sovietwolf. We are outnumbered by humans in the first place. On top of that, only able men and women would be able to fight or even defend themselves. You would not hand a two year-old or a pregnant woman a weapon and ask them to fight. And of those who actually could fight, how many would join you in such a pointless bloodbath? What would motivate them to go forward? The murdering of innocent people? You may not see them as such, but people with families who have done nothing wrong in their lives surely cannot be considered evil. More importantly, we are already seen as monsters. Fighting without cause, only to kill, would only prove that misconception. Believe me when I say humans NEED to demonize the enemy. Most of them don't have the heart to kill someone they trust or someone who appears even relatively human. It's easier to kill someone if they look like monsters. Would you want that? Would you all want countless innocent lives on OUR side to be compromised?

I cannot know if I am getting through to anyone or if anyone has even bothered to read all of this. However, to anyone who wishes to kill humans and fails to see the logic I have presented, I can promise you this: you will not win. The oldest of my kind, my pack, many other nonhumans and countless humans will be against you. I can personally guarantee that anyone wishing to slaughter humans is an enemy to me. I will not hesitate to kill you. And I speak not from the perspective of a confused child venting their anger to the world. I make no hollow claims. After so many years, you become desensitized to death. One way or another, enemies of humanity will die if they fail to give up their foolish beliefs ahead of time. I suggest you rethink the logic behind your desires and consider how many will move to stop you before you even come close to achieving your goal. I do not wish for anyone to get hurt on either side, but I will fight if it becomes necessary.

Consider my words and make the right decision.

First off, before we start talking about how superior humans are, it might be best for everyone to know who helped humanity conquer the world many times over in the past. The Roman Empire is not humanity's accomplishment alone, which is why we are loved by many in Italy even today.

And to "howlsmoon", I will die myself before I let humanity die. I promised once to protect humanity. I don't even know why I love them so much, regardless of how many times they annoy me. The point is, I am not wishing for them to die off on their own. If they need help, whether they want it or not and regardless of whether or not I do it alone, I will help them survive. They are not stupid creatures. Like every other race, there is a bell curve. Most are average to below average. Only a small amount are highly intelligent to genius. Humans and nonhumans alike have made many great inventions, painted many beautiful paintings and written many great things together. The only problem humanity has is that it is, in general, ignorant. Keep in mind this is different than stupid. Ignorance means you just don't know. Everyone is ignorant in some way. Humanity is ignorant because they don't know the truth about nonhuman kinds like werewolves. Most don't believe we exist, and many think we are just monsters. These are lies that have been held for thousands of years. It's similar to how humans demonize themselves. During World War 2, you could find comics depicting strong, good-looking soldiers fighting off zombie-like, disgusting Japanese people. Meanwhile, the Japanese had the same comics, only Americans were the monstrous zombie creatures. It's basic logic, if something is a monster, it's okay to kill it. Monsters don't have hearts, or feelings, or families. Monsters don't have lovers. It just makes us easier to kill if we look less human.

You overlook one thing, the ignorance of humans to our existance is too our advantage, It helps us to blend into society
without it it would be war and total anarchy. Things would become midevil again. parish the thought, my pack and I have better things to do than start or be involved in a useless war.

We cannot stay hidden forever. Only a fool would think that we could do so. We have tried in the past, and that is what happened in the middle ages. Any time after the fall of the Roman Empire. We have to start seriously contemplating a method of safe exposure that will cause as little damage as possible. Better that we control the process instead of risk it happening anyway, beyond our control and with no opportunity to speak our minds. I do not know a way, but I have been thinking about it. If we just ignore this, it will hurt us in the end, and we cannot afford what would happen.

You, like many, assume that war would be the outcome. It is not that simple. In the past, the people who held the power also had control over propaganda. They had print and strong numbers. Today, communication is widespread and very little goes unnoticed by someone. We have support from humans, and that is what matters most. There are many who not only believe in us, but would be willing to help us if we were in trouble. I've said it to others before, we are only hiding because we were forced into it during a time when all who did not conform to the popular belief system were forced to convert or were killed. We are only here because we fear exposure. However, by hiding, we are not confronting the problem at hand. We are not dealing with the lies and misconceptions that only continue to demonize us and confuse the truth. If we hide, we forfeit. That is a fact. We are choosing not to make change; choosing to bring our children into a close-minded world. I'm not saying it would be easy to make change, but we have an opportunity now more than ever to seek progression. Fear of the possibilities has always prevented new discoveries and new ideas. Those who fear exposure are preventing us from living freely. Regardless of what level of success we may achieve if we tried, we will never know what would actually happen if we remain stagnant. The world will change without us and our history will fade along with the truth. That is what you promote by hiding. You are creating a tradition out of it. All I ask is that you, and anyone else, ask what the true pros and cons are of hiding versus exposure. Think logically, not just based on an unquestioned fear.
