I Am A Real Werewolf

Another nice little litmus test to see if people are actually werewolves is to check their age.

The first shift of a werewolf almost always happens between [18-22] years of age, and there is no control over the first shift, and it is most common closer to 18.

While it is possible for one's first shift to be earlier, it is highly unlikely that one should be highly skeptical of anyone 15 or younger that claims to have shifted.

EDIT: Correcting the age range. I was misinformed before. Thank you to WerewolfEngineDriver for correcting me.

Actually, the age range of shifting is from 18 to 22. And I heard early bloomers are unlikely. Possible perhaps, but unlikely...

Really? 18-22?

Sorry for messing up. I am not a werewolf myself (I am a novice mage studying all elements of the supernatural for now) and am going off of information I have gained from my predecessors.

I do apologize if I lead to some spreading of false information.
@TheMorningsStar No need to apologize, but if you're doing research on werewolves you need to go looking for the "common truth"- asking the same question to different people and if some aspects of their answers are similar, than there's a big chance of these aspects being facts. And you're welcome :), I've been doing research on werewolves for a few years and sometimes I mentioned I was gathering misinformation between the general info I found.
