The Wolf Man (1941).

"Even a man who is pure in heart, and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf, when the wolfbane blooms, and the Autumn moon is bright."

"The way you walked was thorny, through no fault of your own, but as the rain enters the soil, the river enters the sea, so tears run to a predestined end. Your suffering is over. Now you will find peace for eternity."

The Werewolf of London (1935).

"Remember this Dr. Glendon, the werewolf instinctively seeks to kill the thing it loves best."

"The werewolf is neither man nor beast, but a satanic creature with the worst qualities of both."
These two “ gentlemen “ wrote the book circa 1935 and Warren Zevon ( R.I.P.) paid tribute to them with his recording of “Werewolves of London”.

@soar2newhighs But Lon Chaney was not in WWOL, so that one stanza is bogus.
@JSul3 I enjoyed Warren’s music and especially WWOL.

@soar2newhighs Not a fan myself.

He should have sense to know that Lon Chaney was not in WWOL.
