I Am A Real Werewolf

From what I know, there are different views on the veil (hell, when I originally learned of it it was under a different name). I will go over what I was taught.

Ultimately, it puts a sort of barrier between the mythic elements and the physical elements of reality, among other things. As a result, there are less supernatural beings that can interact in the physical world, they tend not to be able to use as much power, magic is weaker, etc.

As for why certain beings like werewolves, vampires, etc. are, primarily, on the physical side of the veil, I was taught it was because that is the more "base" nature.

Werewolves, vampires, etc. are, ultimately, more natural than mythical as a base (regardless of how mythical they are), and thus end up on the physical/natural side of the veil. If the "base" of an entity is more mythical, they would tend to reside on the other side of the veil.

Also, you say that the veil was created to protect humans from supernaturals and vise versa, but do we actually know that? Hell, do we even know why the veil exists? Like what caused it and the purpose? I mean, we might be able to extrapolate reasons, but I haven't seen anything that shows we know the actual initial intent.

my personal opinion is that the humans are not strong enough to withstand the storm on their own so the big man upstairs kept us on this side to either help the humans we live nearby in time of need or to fight for what we think is right to make a better place for humans, idk my two cents, but i find it the most logical

I think that it might be because like you suggested, we are too human, so maybe you could call it a "defect". But I mean, maybe some werewolves are more wolf than human so that they exist on the other side. However, some, like us, are more human so therefore we exist in this side of the veil. Maybe it isn't a defect though, and instead is just normal and divides half the werewolf population by seeing if they are 50% or more in the supernatural realm and the other half into the human realm. Also, everyone on either side is a werewolf, however, I guess it is how much of the time you are the wolf part of you. That's my theory.

The veil is this big secretive thing that people claim to know things about but how much of it really checks out? It's easy for people to make up lies and play pretend. Just look at all the people who claim to be werewolves or some other mythological creature that they simply can't prove and yet we are supposed to take their word for it?

No idea what you're talking about, but if you want a wide range of opions, mine is: there is no such thing as supernatural, because everything has a natural reason.

And I've never heard of "the veil".

It sure is a good question, can't say I have a good answer. This is something you can really debate. Maybe "the other side" is not meant for traditional supernaturals, so to speak. Maybe for some other specific kind or kinds.

Maybe it's because of the whole "born into a human/humanoid body" thing? We're born on this side, so we might stay on this side, unless somehow given the ability to cross through. Though I've heard some shifters have an easier time seeing through it and working with it despite it being in place.

No its cause the veil is for more the spiritual side of things it isn't a world for physical beings persay.

I think that it could be because all humans have some amount of supernatural DNA.
