Respect
Respect is something people usually show others without even thinking about it. When greeting someone, the way you just talk to someone. It is something that is valued by some people. It's been in society for who knows how long, but it's always been a cornerstone in society. I mean good luck getting a job or going through school by being a rude little shit. No matter who you are, what your life is, everyone shows respect at some point during their life. But then we go on to the internet and everything changes. Here people are bullied, harassed, insulted, disrespected and so on. And why? Oh right, because your safe behind your screen so there are no rules. I mean it's just the internet. No one knows who you are and where you live. You can do anything on the internet. So why not be an annoying, disrespectful punk who's just bothering people right? Wrong!
Here is how this post has anything to do with this group/experience. Sure it is less crazy than EP, but still some occasional headaches. If this was real life no one would behave like this. If it was real life you would end up being punched in the face for what you're saying here. I know some think it's old fashioned, some people don't even respect their parents. And that's just ridiculous come on, without your parents you wouldn't even be alive to bother us.
So what's my point? My point is anyone here who does not show us at least one ounce of respect can just keep quiet. We shouldn't have to tolerate any crap. Granted because of the very nature of this group some crap is to be expected. But no one here has ever even met you. No one here has done a damn thing to you. Yet you continue to come here and call us insane or that we all belong in a psychiatric institute. Why? What did we ever do to you? If you think your helping us, well we don't want or need your "help". This is real for us. We have not done anything to deserve being treated like a bunch of psychos.
So to end this. Show respect or leave us alone. Questions are fine as long as it's not the billionth "can someone bite me?".
The Golden Rule is, treat others the way you want to be treated. So follow it or shut it. Got nothing nice to say? Then don't say anything.
