I Am A Real Werewolf

Hunters... I've noticed this a lot on EP and it irritates me to no end so I'm going to clarify some things and I'm sure that many hunters out there will agree with me:

A lot of people think that hunters just hunt us werewolves all the time, with no exception. They think that the hunters hunt us down because we're "beasts" and "animals" to normal humans. But they don't. We're mostly human anyways so why would they? Hunters shouldn't even be called hunters honestly, because they're actually more like the law enforcement of the supernatural. They hunt down evil and bad things. The werewolves that they hunt and kill, more than likely deserved it. Just as there are bad people out there, such as serial killers and mass murderers, there are also bad werewolves.

Not all hunters are good, just like cops. Some abuse their power and act crooked, I've actually had the unwanted pleasure of meeting a few. Werewolves are still "fair game" just like every other supernatural being out there but hunters don't just come and kill us for no reason. We have just as much a right to live as they do, and they know it. Hunters have an unspoken truce with all beings and they hunt the ones that break it. We are not "beasts" and they do not "hunt" us with no cause.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on that. It may be less common now, but hunters were certainly a thing in the past. You're talking about them like they're as organized as an actual police force, or even nearly as organized. The problem is: if some random person gets an idea in their head that they want to hunt werewolves or other beings, they can just pick up a gun, stumble into the forest, and start shooting. There's no registry that lists all the people who do this. It's nearly impossible to keep track of things like that. Regardless of how many people may perform the role you speak of, there could very easily still be actual "hunters". With that said, I'm not implying that it's a significant concern. Times have changed, and our situation has greatly improved, but we can't pretend that there aren't still those who hate us and those who would have no regrets killing one of us.
Indeed. It is said that the government of your homeland knows you're supernatural but they'll leave you alone as long as you're not a serious threat to the people around you.

Really glad you posted this here, saw it back on EP. Some people think hunters are just trigger happy nuts. Well their not.

What things would be a death-worthy offense?

The same things, generally, that would be a death worthy offense in a human culture. It depends where you live normally, but murder is a pretty big one. That's not to say every supernatural being that commits murder warrants death, but it's a likely outcome. I don't want to make it seem as though unwarranted deaths don't happen though, there have always been and always will be bad apples among every group. Supernatural creatures being killed unjustly is nothing new, but nowhere near as common as lore will make it sound.
