I Am A Real Werewolf

Hey everyone. I've been thinking lately. There's a LOT of differing views, beliefs, and values in the wolven community. Then it brought something to mind- the big one most people think of when they hear "werewolf"- the shifting.
So I brought myself to think to ask this.
What are your beliefs on shifting? What techniques do you, as an individual use? Who taught you?

I believe it's different per person... For example I haven't shifted yet but I've heard of "techniques" that can help me shift (like meditation or simply relaxing), but I believe the first shift happens when it happens. No triggers, no helps, no meditation unless you feel like it. Your body finds out how to shift (and mine feels like preparing and sometimes trying to shift completely out of nowhere) and after your first shift you will know how to shift voluntarily.

Though I have heard that involuntary shifts can be triggered by emotions like extreme anger or fear.

But anyways I don't believe in shifting techniques besides not stressing about it and just waiting patiently.
