I Am A Real Werewolf

Hey everyone. I've been thinking lately. There's a LOT of differing views, beliefs, and values in the wolven community. Then it brought something to mind- the big one most people think of when they hear "werewolf"- the shifting.
So I brought myself to think to ask this.
What are your beliefs on shifting? What techniques do you, as an individual use? Who taught you?

My current view on (physical) shifting is that it's nothing really "special", at least compared to what people would expect-you're still a human regardless even though genetically you might be a shifter, no special powers besides the shifting (no "magical" transformations, etc.), it doesn't (or at least from what I currently understand, it shouldn't) break any universal or biological laws, etc. My view on shifting is more naturalistic than mystical. But I don't view it as something grandiose or magical that only special people with special knowledge can do. I feel as long as you've got the skill, you can try and perform shifting.

Techniques I mainly use right now are meditation and other forms of shifting. I wouldn't say anyone taught me-I just looked online and searched for what I could use, then modified the techniques to suit me. I did get advice from others on what to do and what were good signs, though.
