I Am A Real Werewolf
So, good news, bad news.
Ive spent a fair deal of time trying to talk to “werewolves” trying to find the truth of the matter. I was hoping for just one person to give me that key I was looking for so that I could share what was held behind the lock with many other confused envoys of curiosity...but to no avail it seems.
Werewolves are not real. In the sense of humans being able to morph genetically into such a thing at least. Nobody can do that. From what Ive gathered, its a romanticized idea from those who feel lost or outcasted and need of something to hold on to. Its cool to think about. The want convinces you that its possible. You begin to look at mere growing pains of puberty as “a sign of shifting” or cling on to anything vague as “proof”...but its not real.
What does seem to have some substance though, is spirituality, shamanism, witchcraft, and such things. It seems that a person can be in harmony with the spirit of a wolf, be an ancestor of one from a former life, or be connected to one in one way or another. This is something I would like to look into. This seems something of substance. I am not discounting the existance of magical beasts entirely. I believe in magic. I believe in energy. I believe in things existing in a spectrum outside of average human awareness.
But shifters seem to not exist. I would be delighted for somebody to change my mind. But its gonna take more than romanticism.
On to the search for witches, astral traveling, and supernatural beasts oh my!
