I Am A Real Werewolf

How to Be a Werewolf

Step 1: Recognize that there is something about yourself you are not fully aware of. Listen to your dreams.

Step 2: Confront that “part” of yourself, regardless of how frightening it may seem. Face your fears and try to see them in a different light.

Step 3: Stop thinking of yourself as two parts, one human and one wolf, and start thinking of yourself as one whole: a werewolf.

Step 4: Accept that you are who and what you are. You are not a monster unless you want to be. You will be disbelieved. You may be hated. However, if you are secure within yourself and if you accept that being different does not make you “bad” or “wrong”, then you can let such hatred and disbelief pass by you without a care.

Step 5: Keep a low profile. Attracting too much attention, especially without an alias to avoid identification, can be dangerous. Do not be too quick to trust anyone who gives you information or advice.

Step 6: Do not hate humans. Recognize that your anger towards humanity stems both from your anger and confusion surrounding the difficulty of being what you are as well as your fear of being different, of having to live as you are, and of persecution.

Step 7: Do what you want in life. You can conform enough to human society to live within it, or seek to escape it. Regardless of what decision you make, do what you feel is right and never try to be someone or something you are not.

This is not a way of identifying yourself as a werewolf. That is why it is titled how to BE a werewolf. This is about how to deal with what you are in the human world and the process of accepting who and what you are. As I said in other responses, this sort of information is hardly ever mentioned on the internet. I would have liked to find something like this when I was younger. Now someone who really is a wolf can. If some people want to misuse this as a way of identifying themselves, fine. As XENETH says, they already do that. Better that they use correct information rather than unibrows and hairy palms.

It was not so much humor as it was telling the truth in a somewhat smartass way.
