I Am A Real Werewolf
Another Poem... The Beach
Your ears open before your eyes,
your eyes open and before them lies
a blue sky,
Your bare back kisses the ground,
in a field of tall grass,
the smell of flowers in the air,
the sound of seagulls,
Your eyes behold my face,
the hand that reaches for you,
take my hand, my love,
and so you do,
Palm in palm we stand together,
and I lead you to the beach,
stepping on warm sand,
walking until a wave passes our feet,
A Celtic knot of arms,
yours and mine,
around bare skins,
and we kiss
as cool water reaches our ankles and recedes,
The fireball says its goodbyes,
making once-white clouds pink,
like the flesh you wear,
Your thoughts are mine,
we both desire it,
you act on it,
Pulling me away,
returning to the warm sands,
returning to tall grass,
Your body remembers
that Earthy touch on your back,
tangle and touch,
kiss and caress,
Your eyes close and heart opens,
your body made home to mine.
Your ears open before your eyes,
your eyes open and before them lies
a blue sky,
Your bare back kisses the ground,
in a field of tall grass,
the smell of flowers in the air,
the sound of seagulls,
Your eyes behold my face,
the hand that reaches for you,
take my hand, my love,
and so you do,
Palm in palm we stand together,
and I lead you to the beach,
stepping on warm sand,
walking until a wave passes our feet,
A Celtic knot of arms,
yours and mine,
around bare skins,
and we kiss
as cool water reaches our ankles and recedes,
The fireball says its goodbyes,
making once-white clouds pink,
like the flesh you wear,
Your thoughts are mine,
we both desire it,
you act on it,
Pulling me away,
returning to the warm sands,
returning to tall grass,
Your body remembers
that Earthy touch on your back,
tangle and touch,
kiss and caress,
Your eyes close and heart opens,
your body made home to mine.
