I Am A Real Werewolf
A Poem For Everyone... Eyes like white marbles,
painted with black and green targets,
open wide with curiosity,
Looking at me,
looking up,
look at me,
my body is incased,
trapped in dark fur,
And the rain,
it wet my body,
fur matted down,
and all the little girl could see,
was a silhouette of me,
A massive standing body,
a shine on my claws,
the noticeable white of my clean teeth,
warm breath like smoke when it hit the air,
I was waiting for it,
the imminent scream.
Nothing.
Rain poured behind me,
no lightning, no thunder,
no hesitation in her step,
approaching me,
no fear in her eyes,
grabbing my hand,
holding it tight.
painted with black and green targets,
open wide with curiosity,
Looking at me,
looking up,
look at me,
my body is incased,
trapped in dark fur,
And the rain,
it wet my body,
fur matted down,
and all the little girl could see,
was a silhouette of me,
A massive standing body,
a shine on my claws,
the noticeable white of my clean teeth,
warm breath like smoke when it hit the air,
I was waiting for it,
the imminent scream.
Nothing.
Rain poured behind me,
no lightning, no thunder,
no hesitation in her step,
approaching me,
no fear in her eyes,
grabbing my hand,
holding it tight.
