I Am A Real Werewolf

Does it not bother anyone else to see wrong information just slung all over the place on here? I see so much false crap with hardly any corrections to set the record straight. I might not be the best person to learn things from but I'm certainly not spouting garbage left and right.

I guess I'll start with all this "my inner wolf" junk. Your "wolf" does not talk to you, nor does it have any "powers" or "abilities". It also does not have another name, gender, or look aside from your own. If you're a werewolf, the wolf part of you is not a separate being. You are only one person, regardless of form and have full control when you shift, unless you happen to have some type of multiple personality disorder. In which case, you still probably aren't a werewolf, but rather suffer from clinical lycanthropy (I would recommend seeing a professional if you haven't already).

Now, when I say name, gender, and look, I'm referring to multiple contributing factors. Name, for instance. If your name is Austin, you don't suddenly become "Wolfmist" or some ridiculous name like that when you shift. If you name "your wolf" like a pet, you are not a werewolf. Its not a separate voice in your head talking to you. Then there's gender. If you are a girl, and your "wolf side" is male, you are not a werewolf. What you identify as is your business and yours alone, but if you identify as one gender as a human and another gender as a wolf, you are either role playing or in need of serious help. As for looks. You are not some mutant wolf with purple eyes and blue fur the size of a horse. You are exactly as you are now, just in another form.

Its like taking water and freezing it into ice, it is still H2O. If you have brown hair, then you will also have brown fur. If you have brown eyes as a human, then you will have brown eyes as a wolf. For example, I have naturally dark red hair, resembling burgundy, but I dye it black with artificial coloring. This is the only way you can even partly achieve unnaturally colored hair/fur. But even with the hair dye, when shifting occurs you have a mass growth of fur from the hair follicles along your entire body. New hair is not colored by the dye, making a majority of it your natural color and only spots of it the color you dyed it.

Another thing that annoys me to see immensely, this is not Twilight. You will not turn into a wolf the size of a horse. You will turn into a wolf equal to your size as a human.

The Law of Conservation of Mass states that all mass must remain constant over time, as system mass cannot change quantity unless it is added or removed. The law also states that mass can neither be created nor destroyed, although it may be rearranged or the entities associated with it may be changed in form. In other words, you cannot create something from nothing, nor can you destroy something to nothing.

The average weight for an adult male wolf is about 100 to 110 pounds while females average about 90 pounds. If you are a 150 pound grown adult, you will not turn into a 200 pound wolf, Its just not possible. Your wolf form will be equal and proportionate to your human form, even if it is larger than the average adult wolf.

I'm a rather small guy, I weigh roughly 130 pounds as a human, not particularly large. As a wolf, I also weigh roughly 130 pounds, which is larger than the average wolf.

There have been reports of wild wolves larger than the average wolf as well, not just werewolves. In 1939, Frank Glaser, a wolf professional, caught a 175 pound male wolf during the Summer. Craig Gardener, a wildlife biologist, captured a 140 pound male wolf in 1997. John Burch of the National Park Service caught a 148 pound male wolf and a 110 pound female wolf at the same time.

Even with some grown men weighing 200 pounds, they do not weigh nearly enough to be the size of a stallion. The average light horse can weigh between 840 to 1,210 pounds while larger riding horses will range between 1,100 to 1,300 pounds.

In short, this is not magic, this is science. You will not pass the physical limitations, it is not possible.

Yet another irritating problem is that shifting is NOT fun. All this talk about "can't wait to shift" and "shifting is fun, I like it" is about as accurate as shifting every full moon; it's complete bullshit.

Shifting is something that takes an enormous amount of energy and a tremendous amount of pain to accomplish. The pain is so intense, it would be like getting hit by a car and run over several times, then getting beaten with a ba<x>seball bat, and then having a house land on your mangled body, just further crushing your bones and moving your organs around. And in no way is that an over exaggeration. If anything, that still doesn't quite cover it. And one of the worst parts is that your mind does not lose consciousness. As much as you would like to black out, as much as you would like to not feel, what really may only be seconds feels like hours of agonizing pain. Its not impossible to black out, I've heard of a few rare cases, but it's about as likely as shifting too young, which can kill you.

Then, even if you do succeed in the entire shift, the amount of energy it costs you is so severe, it can render you unable to move. Not only do you require a massive amount of energy to shift, but you require the same amount to shift back. If you lack that amount of energy to shift back, then you won't be able to. You will be stuck in that form until you are able to build up the energy needed to shift back.

Although I do agree in some aspects, I would like to clear up some things you may have not known.

There are breeds of werewolves where the changes vary, so your definitions are a bit... not lacking, but what may be right for you aren't necessarily what other wolves are going through, although they may be very similar.

First, you can have a wolf that is a separate part of you. It doesn't make that person a werewolf, but if the person can shift, and has a separate "soul" as they describe, they are still a wolf. It doesn't necessarily make them crazy. It makes them a "shape shifter."
A shape shifter is a bit different than a werewolf.
The person is more spiritual, and the "soul" they believe they have in their head is a spiritual guide, more or less. They don't give them the ability to shift, but more so give them the information, enlightenment, and what not, to complete the shifts their body is capable of.

Second, the naming thing is actually normal. You want to call yourself, or name yourself, something different then the name given to you at birth. A lot of wolves have a tendency to want to disassociate from their own human lives, because the human is just a form, and sometimes doesn't feel at all apart of you. Some wolves feel the wolf as being their natural, true state, and the human side only an inconvenience. So, its only natural for them to feel the need to pull away and lead a separate life behind these names.
I don't agree with the whole "Fluffywolf Darkscar" thing, but, its kind of whatever goes thing for them, or whatever they feel comfortable with.

Third, the mass theory is bullshit. It makes a lot of sense, yes, and don't ask me to tell you exactly how it works because I am no scientist, and I don't know for sure. (Even if any of this could be determined strictly on a scientific basis, because I don't think it can.)
However, you can be a much bigger wolf than regular wolves. It depends on the breed or type of wolf. I'm not some giant Twilight mf, but I am still a bit larger than most wolves, as most are.
We don't get as big as those exaggerated fools, but we still get fairly large.

Fourth, the fur is not the same as your hair color. I mean, it can be, but I've never seen a blonde werewolf, or a full red headed werewolf running around the forest. I have a mixture of three hair colors, blonde, brown, and auburn, and my fur color used to be completely black.
Your fur color factors in with breed, and your own "customization" so to speak. It's different with every wolf, even of the same breed and type. Not all wolves are the same in the slightest. And your hair color can change! We go through the same shedding, and growth of new fur like any other wolf does.
If you notice, a wolf's fur color and length can be a lot different in the spring/summer than it is in the fall/winter.

Same here. I've met only a handful of genuine people on here, as well as a few in other places, who know what they are talking about, and you are definitely one of the ones that do.
I like when you can agree on something and relate to the person, and that's sort of like an inner confirmation of sorts once you finally find someone like you. Makes you feel as if you're doing something right as opposed to sifting through endless fakes or children who just piss you off.
DyanWerewolf · 26-30, M
Yeah, it's not often I find people who know what they're talking about, I agree wholeheartedly and it was fantastic to be able to talk to someone else on here that is knowledgeable and has common sense. You're more than welcome to message me anytime you'd like, I wouldn't mind a good conversation every now and again. Those seem to be scarce around here too sometimes.
ItWasAGhostBro
That I know all too well. I definitely will.
bmiller1989
yeah or like a one, DyanWerewolf, who also claims to be a vampire. wants to be a serial killer, and, as you stated, "believes in fairy tales"...hmm..maybe a bit too much skyrim gaming....your as fake as they come
Futuete
dear miller, why do you want to message this guy? There can come nothing good out of this. I want to know what you think you can learn from someone like this if you engage him? Trust me, I have done this countless of times, thinking I could learn something magical, only to come back with a hand filled with total poop... it is just the circles they keep running in that really makes me mad, especially when they tell me that they are here to TELL PEOPLE what to believe is the absolute truth which only they know. And as for the young minds getting corrupted by this online nonsense, freewill son, freewill. These people escape together. What I like to see happen is when they start to fight each other, when the one has OTHER ANSWERS than the other one. Classic, friend trolling another "friend"...
DyanWerewolf · 26-30, M
*sigh* and here we go again. Another hater. Stalking my page, are we? Get a life, I won't even waste my time on you.
Futuete
i don't hate you, i don't stalk people... you are just plaything.
TheDeathOfMe1985
Thank the heavens there is someone like you.

There is just one thing though; the full moon thing isn't complete bullcrap, seeing as I used to shift on full moons.

There are many different kinds of werewolves, so you can't put limitations on them and trying to combine all of it in one.

Other than that, great story. The wolf names and inner wolf stuff always get a laugh out of me.
DyanWerewolf · 26-30, M
I know there are different types of wolves, but I've never encountered one that shifts on the full moon, and I certainly know that I myself have never shifted on a full moon before. But thank you, I appreciate the compliment.
TheDeathOfMe1985
No problem.
Futuete
DEATHOFME, this guy is nothing special, he just like the rest...in fact I think apart from his attention seeking, he is more deluded than some others on here.
Futuete
do you know how many of the same stories i have seen on this site,
little son, you are nothing more special than other wolves on here...
and you don't deserve special treatment just because you think you can only be born one,
or are good at writing bu...lll..shittt stories like this on here to prove that you have MORE ANSWERS than the rest.
please get calm and ask yourself in a quiet place "WHAT DO YOU I REALLY KNOW",
then you will see what LITTLE you actually know.

Last post got deleted for some reason. But anyways, the links in the post aren't working so here they are:

Futuete
and your point is?
Shadowscar
Finally someone gets it right, nice said. The pain part is 100% true, Ive only partially shifted but just that hurts a lot. Size part also true. So many kids here are like "Im 14, born alpha, I weigh 140lbs but when Im a wolf Im like the size of a mini bus and I weigh 200lbs." Sigh is all I say to that. -_-
Bjl930
Wouldn't you be slightly smaller as a wolf? Ie: your 5"7' as a human you would be like 5"5' or 5"4' because it takes some of your matter to make the tail, elongated ears, etc.?
DyanWerewolf · 26-30, M
Yes, but you'd more likely be shorter than that also because the wolf spine is not designed to stand up straight, even when K-9 animals do stand briefly on their hind legs. Wolves normally stand on all four legs, making you shorter naturally anyways. Not to mention, being on all fours as a human is very different, seeing as the legs are much longer than the arms, when wolves are roughly the same length for all four.
Futuete
sorry dyan but BJ has all the answers, you lose son!!!
Sicarium
Since you dislike false information so much, I'll set the record straight. There's no such thing as werewolves. It was just a movie.

Irony. Gotta love it.
Futuete
This guy seems to stalk every post in this forum, together with his beloved sheangel19, to convince people of how much smarter he is than the rest of those who call themselves were doggies. I don't understand his point, the more he tries to convince me or anyone else that he has the answers, the more lost he appears to be, now that is the true irony.
Reshire
While there are a few points I disagree with, the overall majority is great and true.
Futuete
dear mecassa, he is just flattering people with bulldust, to make himself look knowledgeable, when in fact he is just as lost like some others on here claiming to be the only real werewolves with the only real answers. he just talking in circles. but he is just as full of it like those others that I speak of. he is no different than they are. he is just doing this for more attention. he is what i call, a person being a werewolf, debunking fakes, for the wrong reasons, only to be a fake too.
Futuete
///he is trying to cover it up........with this attitude, that he thinks he knows all the answers...........as to who is fake and who is not.
TheKnowledgableOne
Damn so what happens if you go to sleep and wake up, will you still be a wolf?
DyanWerewolf · 26-30, M
Yes. Your body relaxes when you sleep and your brain doesn't function as much, but you're still a wolf because you haven't gone through the process of shifting back. You don't shift in your sleep, and more often than not, you need to sleep before you shift back because it helps replenish the energy needed. It's taken me a while to shift back every time I've shifted. Much longer than you'd think it would.
TheKnowledgableOne
So how the fuck do you shift back?
