@Kingwolf Isn't that what a shapeshifter is, though? A human that can shift into an animal (example being a wolf), and with a tendency to look like a regular version of that species.

A shapeshifter uses spells to transform into animals, but I was born in human form and that means I look like a human but I can shift into a wolf

I don’t use spells and never have, i can control my shifting but if I have to shift very fast I bite the joint of my thumb

@Kingwolf No, that's not the case. Shapeshifters shift the same way as any other shifter. They don't use spells, it's innate the same way it is for weres and anyone else, and many, if not all, can control their shifting.
