Snow Leopards,and Himalayan animals like Takin,Chiru and others that specialise in living in high alpine regions are all very very rare.Yet they are quite often seen,their bodies found,prints,fur etc.So a large ape creature would easily be spotted,

I would like to say yes, but with today's technology I feel we would have found some by now.
