I wish I knew a bunch of creatives near me

I heard about a fake seance and I realized that if I could get a local acting troop together and a space, it would be fun to hold one, like a play, twice a night! Have the space all set up for thrills and "encounters"!

Of course, I only know how to organize a troop, costuming and props. I have no idea for funding and such to get a space or anything like that.

Me and my big ideas...

Do you envision offering these seances for free or charging for admission?

Do you know anyone with the slightest potential for being cultivated enough into doing some minimal acting even if they never did such in, e.g., high school? I mean the scope of what you're proposing seems limited enough, they don't have to become thespians or learn a whole repertoire of plays.

@ThirstenHowl i would charge admission. I imagine space woukd require rent.

I think it would be fairly easy. I could even be the Seance mistress. It would be fun! Then you have people in cabinets and under the large table to pull off some of the tricks.

@FoxyGoddess maybe a workable space could be something like a community center, library (with like an auditorium or meeting space), park / garden, cafe / restaurant, art gallery, maybe a space in a local school or college, maybe even the home / grounds of one individual in your group if you manage to assemble one
