@Richard65 That sounds interesting! I have an odd love of the Spiritualist movement of the last 1800's early 1900's. It fascinates me to no end. Even though I know the "mediums" were complete frauds, I still find it so interesting.

@FoxyGoddess me too. Years ago, I bought a fantastic book called "The Perfect Medium: Photography and the Occult." It's packed with incredible images. I think it's pretty expensive now, but it investigates fake medium and spirit photography and is completely fascinating. I think the subject is ripe for fiction or drama. I think its heyday was just after WW1, when bereft families were so overwhelmed by the catastrophic loss that they wanted to believe their loved ones continued to exist in spirit form and could be contacted by mediums. It's a tragic idea.

@ThirstenHowl i would charge admission. I imagine space woukd require rent.

I think it would be fairly easy. I could even be the Seance mistress. It would be fun! Then you have people in cabinets and under the large table to pull off some of the tricks.

@FoxyGoddess maybe a workable space could be something like a community center, library (with like an auditorium or meeting space), park / garden, cafe / restaurant, art gallery, maybe a space in a local school or college, maybe even the home / grounds of one individual in your group if you manage to assemble one
