The part of your brain that harbours creativity literally shrinks after trauma/living in truma and survival brain for so long. And I've been severely struggling with that for four years now about. Ever since I escaped that psychotic and violent POS. I'd gotten away from him, but it was far from over. Anyway. My folks came up for a visit and brought some of my things they had stored for me including my acrylic paints and brushes. So I've been playing around a little after my son goes to bed at night (only chance I get). But nothing is really coming to me, struggling to decide what to make. Ive never been great but i used to get rather creative with ideas and textures and patterns. Meh. A work in progress I started yesterday.
