People say the world is cruel

The world is as we have crafted it. It is what we have made and nothing else.

Scarcity, pain, poverty…these are the demons of our creation.

Imagine a world without that.

Why do I pick this song? Because it is antithetical to what most consider art. Or music. It is beauty in the most ugly way possible. And yet it brings beauty to some.

That is the thesis. If you do not cry out for a world of beauty for those you least understand, If you do not ache for peace and happiness of those you understand the least, those most different from you, then you do not love love. You love death.

You hear noise, I hear freedom. The freedom of those you can never understand. If you call me pretentious, I call you monstrous.

The world can be beautiful. People can be beautiful. We’ve all just blinded ourselves and called it “human nature”.

You heard noise. I hear the triumph of true will. The triumph of freedom.

Art is all we have. The rest is just slow pain, inflicted on ourselves. One day we will all understand.

I’ve been struggling with art lately. The relevance of what we create in this society feels moot as opposed to what we’re supposed to uphold.

I’d like to say it doesn’t matter, but what can I create that doesn’t turn into space trash… the passion in my words that will never be read or heard.

If I’m an integral part of something, I must be so minute to the roar of other callings.

I think, there’s too many people.
