Just from Reading scripture it's been just over 6,000 years since Adam sinned and God said that to Eve.
For almost the total 6,000 years the man ruled completely over the woman.
God also said I will create a new thing a woman shall come pass a man... Jeremiah 31:32 and that came to pass in the 20th century for many nations.
