Orbital Monsoon Hypothesis: An irrefutable DEBUNKING of Young Earth Creationism. I guarantee that no YEC can tackle this one.

I'll try to be concise but even so, i don't expect much response to this slam dunk of a refutation. But a Pikachu can hope!

Orbital Monsoon Hypothesis

1) Seasons are caused by the Earth's tilt on its axis relative to the Sun. This causes the Monsoon seasons and the dry seasons in certain parts of the world and when one half of the world is experiencing monsoon season, the other is experiencing its dry season.

2) These periods of heavy rain and drought leave telltale geological signs in the form of dissolved oxygen which appears in alternating layers in stalactites with high oxygen corresponding to the monsoon season and low oxygen to the dry season.

3) This wet/dry season cycle occurs at regular intervals but change in intensity depending on where the Earth is in its orbit around the Sun. Based on what we know about the orbit of the Earth, theses changes in tempo occur every 23,000 years. These peaks of intensity in one hemisphere should correspond to troughs of intensity in the other. There should be an inverse pattern.

Well here is the patter that the Orbital Monsoon Hypothesis predicted:

And here is the pattern that was actually observed:

A prediction of 23,000 year, inverse intervals confirmed by empiric measurement.
And the only way that a YEC can contest this is by saying that the Earth's orbit was catastrophically increased during recorded human history.
Among other things, this would mean that constellations instead of remaining fairly constant (as they have according to ancient records compared to today) would have been changing on a daily basis. But there are not people anywhere in the world at any point in history who record such a phenomenon.

God just moved everything around to confuse Atheists. 馃お
@Sharon

lol that does end up being the necessary conclusion by a YEC for a lot of this stuff
redredredM
You underestimate the YEC, they will simply point out the work of satan to confuse the unfaithful.
@redredred

Actually i don't encounter that very often. they more frequently invoke a miracle rather than an infernal plot.
And of course that scientists just don't know what they're talking about lol
SW-User
@redredred I agree. Also, @Pikachu you underestimate the attention spans of the YECs. They won't read that all the way through; guaranteed.
@SW-User

lol nah i think i estimate it pretty well. I anticipate very few if any responses from YECs.
