Question for my Welsh friends: Are there any monolingual Welsh speakers left who are not children under school age? Do you know of any still alive?

are you suggesting most Welsh speakers have two tongues?

I know of at least two people who were effectively monolingual as a result of advanced age/brain trauma. They would not have been monolingual with their full mental capacities. Unless someone is homeschooled and deliberately withdraen from society for that purpose, I think it would be practically impossible.

If they are monolingual in Welsh, they could not read the English question.
