Please stop calling it an "invasion" or a "war" and getting all paniced about it.

It was just a raid. They tossed the crook and his wife onto a helicopter and left.

They did not land a large force to attempt to take and hold territory.

They did have to take out some anti-aircraft systems to keep the helicopter from being shot down, but those were the only targets other than the dictator and his wife.

It lasted less than 3 hours.

Calm down folks.

We did not start a new war. We just grabbed a criminal and took him to where he could meet justice.

Ever heard of diplomatic immunity? It applies to foreign leaders as well as embassy staff & consular officers. If there isn't a war, then tRump has no legal basis for what he's done in Venezuela. BTW, pardon me if I erred in thinking you care about any legal basis.

tRump's advisor Stephen Miller said “The United States of America is running Venezuela.” tRump himself said, of Venezuela that the US would “run the country until such time as we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition.” Running Venezuela; that's going to last more than 3 hours.

Remember when we attacked Iraq and then "ran" it while Bush tried to extract Iraqi oil money to pay for the attack? Do you think tRump's people will be able to manage a job like that better than Bush's people did??

@ElwoodBlues I hope the economic war is declared sooner, rather than later. If China, Japan and Western Europe all dump their T Bonds, the $US will tank , half the banks in the US will close and most of the pension funds every worker is relying on will collapse, well inside 2 years..All this is happening slowly anyway. But its "knee in the groin " time..😷
