People are conditioned to be so apathetic, I don't know it will ever happen.

What's more, people live such centric lives, nothing exists beyond their myopic vision. So, organizing in a more inclusive framing is never seen as an option.

People are brainwashed beyond being able to see outside their own limited framing.

@PhoenixPhail This is true. but in some cultures more than others..Those with the most material possessions often tend to be the most selfish. But I dont know which came first..😷
@PhoenixPhail people in China and Russia aren't brainwashed and their government has organized them.
@Roundandroundwego Really? I think everyone in this world is brainwashed to some degree.
@PhoenixPhail the statements by president Xi about international law and economic development don't seem to be misleading. People elsewhere are interested in the world and not regressive. It's not normal in general, therefore, to be myopic or self absorbed. A multi polar world with peaceful economic development is a good plan and people are interested in making it happen.
@whowasthatmaskedman Americans aren't materially better off than Chinese people. The capitalist oligarchy isn't letting you do much.

@Roundandroundwego But Americans think they are better off, because the government and the consumer society tells them they are. And guns of course.. And Taylor Swift.. Deep, meaningful things like that..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Don't forget recreational shopping. All their devices keep screaming at them to go out and buy more stuff they won't really use because it is trendy, it is in, it is a Shopping Holiday!

@dancingtongue Exactly. Consumer society has transferred a persons sense of self worth from the real achievements in life to items that can be owned and recommended by celebrities of some kind and purchased to bestow those same benefits on your average "Karen" as they did on Kim Kardashian..😷
