It's a Doggone invasion!!
One of Make America Great Again main points is the invasion of illegal immigrants into American soil.
I thought it would be interesting to look at how many countries has the US occupied or invaded since it's inception.
If you include combat interventions, coups supported by the U.S., bombing campaigns, and deployments the list includes over 70 countries.
These are only the major ones:
Canada (1812)
Mexico (1846–1848)
Cuba (1898 and later occupations)
Puerto Rico (1898)
Philippines (1898–1946)
Haiti (1915–1934)
Dominican Republic (1916–1924; 1965)
Nicaragua (multiple interventions, early 1900s)
Panama (1989)
Grenada (1983)
Afghanistan (2001–2021)
Iraq (2003–2011, with a later return against ISIS)
Venezuela
And the more than 100 million Native Americans who were either killed or displaced to make room for the New Americans.
(Thank you Mr Ontheroad for reminding me)
Someone explain how does this make sense.
