Sunny is the sky The air is hot and breezy I sit here thinking to myself If anything can please me
What could make me happy Where to find a smile Should I take another walk And walk a dozen miles
I gave up on being quiet I chose to speak my mind I hope that everything I said Came across as kind
Maybe I’ll go out tonight Have some Indian food and drink Or maybe I’ll stay in again And have a nice long think
Maybe I’ll start working out I’ll put that on the list tomorrow Maybe I just need a hobby Do you have one I could borrow
I’m going to go camping With my grandsons and my daughter I got us a real cool site At the edge of the river’s waters
I plan to collect a ton of stones And build myself a wall And then take the grandsons swimming When the water builds up tall
I’ll post a few cool pictures When I return on Monday I’m hoping this holiday weekend Is filled with lots of fun days
I hope everyone enjoys it And that you find someone to hug Someone that makes you happy And ways to share your love
Happy Wishes for the best 4th of July weekend everyone. I know some of my friends here have had a rough go of it lately and I want you all to know that I’ll be thinking about you all and sending you lots of love and positive vibes.
I have other friends here that seem like they’ve been doing well and living happy. To you I say congratulations and keep it up. I’m happy for you. I’ll be sending you people love and good vibrations as well.
And to that cute little redhead girl from down the road of life… If we have too many more dates in my dreams, I may need to consider us going steady… 😘
