Trial was fair. The sentence was on the light side. If he does the 35yrs. without parole or pardon, that is on the lower side of reasonable to my way of thinking.

That animal should have got life, and his equally horrid parents should be sued into oblivion. They made over a half million dollars from this so far. 😠

@AbbeyRhode Don't worry, Metcalf's family is gonna sue the bejeebus outta that family and get a large chunk of it in the settlement.

I wasn't there, and I didn't watch on TV...35 years WITHOUT parole...may be fair. BUT I was surprised at the leniency.

He was definitively convicted of murder, which was the correct decision. I was glad to see that, as there were a lot of idiots out there trying to claim it was in self defense. Please....🙄
His sentence is a little light, but he is young and perhaps the jury had some sympathy for the fact that he has ruined his life and will be in and out of the criminal justice system for the rest of his life.
