I feel this, and it amazes me how many people don’t realize (or who want to ignore) that the Constitution and its First Amendment allow you to criticize your country—which you support with your taxes and votes. And you don’t have to leave !

Absolutely perfectly said! I would very much like to understand the difference between the people who can look back at how purposely molded their experience was and wish to know the rest of the story and want a more honest understanding and equal experience going forward and someone who thinks it’s unamerican to acknowledge we’re not the greatest country on earth and “with liberty and justice for all” was never what happened here. It is mindboggling.
