Based on my observations of the USA, I see no evidence Christianity makes people more moral.

@Bumbles perhaps, but if you don't follow Christ, how are you Christian? Same goes for Buddhism with Buddha, Marxism with Marx or any ism really.

@basilfawlty89 I’m nor opining on who is right, just that I have not met a Christian who didn’t think they were properly Christian. We do know that this issue goes back to early Christianity. The First Council of Nicaea was in 325. Who adopted the proper form of Marxism is a perfect analogy.

@Bumbles I know. I believe in ecumenism though. Especially with our Orthodox brothers. No one is "properly Christian". We have all sinned by our own grievous faults.
