What state (in the USA) should I move to?

Unless I meet the LOML between now and 2 years what state should I live in next? I was thinking Maine but wokies have ruined it for me ...Ive already been in Michigan, Texas. The only southern state I would consider is Louisiana but they don't pay well and I prefer cooler weather.

I commute from RI (lower NE cost of housing) into the greater Boston area where the income is much higher.

I just happen to thrive in a competitive pace. I like the rush. When I was out of school, I used to commute from southern CT into Manhattan. Same deal - suburbs to city, pace, learning and income.
